Korean Online Speech Contest Finale – HONORARY CONSULATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA IN HYDERABAD

The Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Korea hosted its first Online Korean speech contest on Sunday, 27th March 2022. Korean language enthusiasts from all over India participated. The contest was assessed by Mr. Choi JiHun.

Mr. Choi has graduated first of his class in Korean Literature and Language from Chung-Ang University and since then has taught Korean at various institutions. He is also a Model and Instagram influencer.

The contest focused on 3 topics, namely:
1. The places I want to visit in Korea
2. Reasons why I love Korean food/ history/ arts & culture.
3. Similarities between Korea and India.

Through this online event, the HCGKR team aimed to provide a platform for all Korean learners/ speakers to showcase their Korean language skills and encourage them to keep learning. It was an amazing experience to listen to Indians speaking Korean. We hope that all the participants had a wonderful time and a great learning experience.
